We are currently a part of the First Lego League. We have participated in the Lego Competition for over four years. Each year we have improved and plan to win a place in the finals in Boston. By funding this project you will be able to help us do this. With the EV3 Robots I will be able to break the students up into small groups so they can build the robots and learn how to use the EV3 software to program them. When they are learning to program large groups make it challenging. In years past students would work on a program, try it out, and then if they had trouble they had to wait. Other students needed to try their program. They would have to pass the Lego Robot to another group before they could fix it. Having the EV3 Robots and the Chromebooks would allow small groups of students to work on their program, try it, and go back and fix it. When we are finished with the competition we will be able to use them with other students. I will be able to expand their use, and allow more students the chance to learn the skills needed to program the Lego Robot to do various tasks.
