  • Building Confidence

    Funded Mar 24, 2025

Thank you so much! This is an incredible help to my students! I have so many living in shelters this year. Having these essentials is so important for a child to feel confident. This will get them in the classroom and feel good enough to come more often. My students will be so excited to use these products!”

  • Snack Time

    Funded Feb 17, 2025

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your generous donation of snacks to our classroom. The Pop-Tarts, Cup of Soups, mac and cheese, granola bars, candy bars, and cereal have already made a huge difference for my students. Having these snacks available helps create a more comfortable and supportive learning environment, ensuring that no student has to go through the day hungry.

Your kindness and generosity mean so much to us, and I truly appreciate your support in helping our students focus, learn, and feel cared for. Thank you again for making a difference in our classroom. We are incredibly grateful!”

  • Building Confidence

    Funded Feb 7, 2025

This project was incredibly important for my students. I put the products directly in one of large cabinets and organized it for the students. I opened it up and showed all of my classes and told them that they could come after class if they were in need of anything there. I thought telling them that there would be time after class, would make them feel better about taking things. HOWEVER, my students were up and out of their seats to take the things that they needed. They were so thankful and happy, very excited. There was no shame, and I felt so rewarded that they felt comfortable enough to admit they needed this stuff.

My students were very open about the things that they can't seem to afford at home. This was so touching and I wish you could have experienced how grateful they were. The cabinet remains unlocked and I watch students go into it to see if they can use any of it. They are not grabbing everything because its free, but with respect. I am so proud of them and thankful to you, for you amazing generosity.”

  • More Noodles!

    Funded Oct 18, 2023

The soups, the granola bars, the mac and cheese! Oh my that students were incredibly excited. My students come to my class on time now because they know that there is some kind of sustenance. Did I say granola bars because I don't think they lasted a day. They loved it!

The change in my students in very noticeable. They are much more relaxed while they sit to eat their food and complete their work. Before we had the food the students were constantly not focused because they were thinking about food. Now they can relax because they know that there will be something to help them get through the day.

My students are forever grateful. I am beyond. I know that giving to people you don't even know is a lot to ask. BUT it really does make a difference.”

  • Fuel as an Incentive

    Funded Jan 14, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous gift to my very deserving students. They are so happy to have this food, it really motivates them to come to school. Knowing that they have something to snack on during school may seem like something trivial, but it makes such a huge difference. They are not only more likely to come to school, but their entire demeanor changes. Getting them into school is hard enough, but getting them to realize that school can also be a sanctuary is the key. Giving them this food makes them trust us and opens their minds to learning. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!”

  • Protons and Futons

    Funded May 4, 2022

My students are so happy to have this couch in the room! They have been flocking to my room to do their work. My room has become study central, and in my school that is a huge deal. My students are not very willing to do work, but this couch has really turned it around for many of them. They are so relaxed and feel like they are at home and really getting things done.

It has really been a blessing to have this at the end of the year as well. Just in time for regents week. It is helping me to snag students into my room to prepare for the regents. They are so grateful to have this safe space to come to.

It is also a great way to get them to sit down and talk about the problems and cool down when they are having a bad week. I will also be forever grateful to you, this has forged a bond between my and my students that is amazing. You would never think a couch could change the dynamics of a classroom like this. But it has, I can't wait for the new students to see it next year. We will start off on a great foot.

    Thank you again,

    Jacci”

  • Showing Off Our Work

    Funded Dec 10, 2019

Thank you so much for your donations to my classroom. I requested to have several different additions to my classroom that would change the routine drastically. I had a blackboard on the side of my classroom that was not only an eyesore but useless. Hanging chart paper just made it worse. The magnetic white board strips are amazing and have made such a difference. I use it to explain different theories and to keep students up to date on what is expected of them.

The rulers are a life saver. I have been using and sharing rulers that are broken and missing numbers. This is a big deal because we have to be specific with the numbers in Earth Science. Its also a safety issue because they can become quite sharp. My students were super excited to see the new rulers and white board. They were eager to open the boxes and set everything up.

I wan to thank you because my students know that other people care and that give them hope for the future.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Kueffner

I teach earth science and astronomy. Both are extremely hands on subjects. I love doing projects with my students. There is nothing like watching them really get involved and creative. However, this is very hard to get started when there is a lack of supplies.
