Thank you so much for funding my proposal. I am very excited to receive these new books to build my classroom library. We will use these books to promote reading and for Reading Counts. It will be exciting to know that I have books coming once we return to school in the fall. My new class will have new books to start the year. Thanks again”

Our school population is in a low socio-economic area, with the poverty rate over 50 percent. I have spent the past 9 years teaching technology at my school. Due to fiscal restructuring, technology will not be a class and I will be teaching in a regular primary classroom. I do not have any books to use in my classroom and want to build my school library before my students arrive in August.
