Code Your Way Through the Day!
Funded Dec 21, 2018I want to thank you again for your generous donation. These robots have not only provided my students with learning opportunities in developing there skills to use technology in their learning, it has also provided social interactions and language development. My students are so excited to work with the dash robots. They have named them and request often to work with them. When the robots are out the students are using there communication skills. The amount of language from my students and their interactions with one and other is amazing during this part of our day! In our class I have also been able to utilize the robots as a motivation tool for my student to complete challenging tasks. In addition, the robots are a great resource to use for positive behavior. Thank you again for your gift. It has truly been an amazing addition to our classroom!!!!”

Help Me Fight the Wiggles!
Funded Jan 8, 2014Thank you so much for your donations. The students were so excited to see our items arrived. In our classroom, we only had 1 cubed chair. Now there was a chair for each student to use during carpet time instruction and activities. All of my students were happy and selected which color cubed chair they wanted to sit in. The cushion sensory pillows were even more exciting for my students to open and use. They are all bright colors and very soft to sit on.
My students have all been diagnosed with autism and are always seeking various sensory inputs. These items our classroom received have been beneficial to help the students when they are needing various levels of of input. The cube chairs provide comfort and help the students identify their bodies in space. The side walls provide support for the students. The pillows are used while siting on the floor or in their seats. They are located in a basket in our classroom and the students are encouraged to retrieve one when they feel they are in need of it.
Thank you again for your generosity. It really increased my students' learning experiences and provided opportunities to enhance their learning.”
