You generous gift provides the calming balance to a rigorous curriculum. It is important that our autistic students have incentives/reinforcement and just plain be provided an outer place and space designed with calm in mind. Besides that, these sensorial materials provide a deep relaxing effect to de-escalate, relax, take a break for students to learn self regulation. Ultimately, students whose emotional needs are met will learn more, perform better and even change the trajectory of their life.”
