TpT Resources and Computer Accessories
Funded Nov 29, 2022This project has helped both my students and I out tremendously. Our class computer is now well protected by the Mosiso case and equipped with a wireless mouse making our tech. corner more versatile.
The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card has saved me hours of planning and design, allowing me more time to dedicate to helping students and planning projects. In addition the TPT gift card funds other public school teachers around the U.S. for their innovation and ideas.
The students love selecting and using these resources in class and at home. They also love making bulletin boards with these graphic organizers.”

Funded Nov 23, 2022This project has helped my students out a great deal. They can now use mice for all of their computer assignments in class. The mice allow them the ability to work with more precision.
Many of my students receive occupational therapy and using a mouse in class allows them more freedom of movement when creating visuals or just navigating the internet and computer based assignments.
Their work has improved and they can even complete some tasks quicker than in the past! They look cool too with their LED lights. Thanks for your generosity and dedication to our kids and public education.”

New School Year Supplies & Kleenex!
Funded Sep 8, 2021As a result of your generosity, my students and I started this school year stocked with many necessary back to school supplies. This project financially helped my students families because they did not have to worry about purchasing school supplies this September. Furthermore, they couldn't wait to get to work on the first days of school.
We used the new resources to create colorful biographical projects which gave them a much needed break from working on the computers. Many were pleasantly surprised that thoughtful individuals whom they've never met made contributions to our little classroom.
Our supplies will last us this entire school year and probably into next Fall. Thanks for your contributions and helping us get started on the right foot. 👏🏻”

Funded Dec 1, 2020The way teachers instruct and students learn was disrupted and disoriented tremendously during the pandemic. Through your generosity, I was able to equip my I-Pad pro with an Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard that allowed me to instruct my students remotely in a unique and effective manner.
The Apple Pencil gave me the ability edit student writing on documents and create instructional videos in a colorful and attention grabbing style. By combining the use of the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil, I was able to model sentence and paragraph drafting in a realistic way that mirrored classroom teaching. As a result, I could easily capture and hold onto my students' attention and imaginations.
Now that we are back in school I can easily demonstrate and model with these tools as I walk around our socially distanced classroom. My visual learners love how I can quickly model writing for them in a quick and versatile way. We are eternally grateful. Thank you so much.”

Funded Nov 23, 2020Technological devices have been the life line between educators and students for the past year. Without these devices, teaching and engaging learners, and having communication with them and their families would be impossible. Every school in the nation has different access to these devices, and unfortunately many students and school staff do not have the proper tools to reach and connect with each other during this global pandemic. As a result of your generosity, my students and I were gifted a great tool to move us forward during this challenging period of time.
The I-pad pro has allowed me to teach remotely and engage with students' and their families by having easy access to amazing apps. like, Google Classroom, Zoom, various note taking applications and tools that make learning engaging, fun, and safe. My students love that I can now use the I-pad in person to demonstrate writing techniques and help students through difficult academic tasks through modeling all why staying socially distant. My students love how I can set the I-pad up on their desk with videos and instructions made specifically for them to enjoy in their own personal space.”

Funded Jun 12, 2020My students' and I have been making great use of the resources we have obtained using our Teachers Pay Teachers gift card. Learning how to identify and write metaphors and similes has never been easier thanks to the great graphic organizers we have discovered and downloaded online.
The classes were so happy to have this gift card to use to pick out the resources that they believed would help them the most. Teachers Pay Teachers have some of the best worksheets and digital resources for teaching and organizing poetry and poems.
As we begin our journey into our poetry unit, we are taking small but progressive steps toward developing the necessary skills that will establish excellent poet portfolios for online and in person.”

Funded Dec 13, 2013As a result of your generosity, the students of I.S. 77 have a great addition to their English Language Arts classroom. This year they have realized the impact that using tablets can have on their research, and now with the addition of the keyboard, the students have been able to type their work in the class. The students were so happy that they can now make their writing much more presentable for their portfolios and bulletin boards. They are so proud.
We spend a great deal of time planning, drafting, and revising narratives, and various formal essays. With our new tools we have been able to conduct research for argumentative essays, listen to online resources, and navigate the web with ease. Some students struggle with the touch screen, so the keyboard and mouse make web browsing easier for them.
Furthermore, I have been able to use the new resources to record data online, and create presentations for instruction and professional development. Thank you once again for your contribution to public education.”
