    I want to take a few minutes to thank you for your generous donation to my project. No one could have ever predicted the times we are faced with today and the struggles many of my students would have when it comes to technology. With your help, I have been able to provide unique learning experiences for students who otherwise would not have the opportunity to have. Working on a brand new iPad to complete assignments has opened a new world to my students. I am able to use fun, exciting, interactive learning tools with my students and bring a new sense of eagerness to learn to these youngsters.

    Watching my students participate in applications such as Jamboard, Kahoot, and Padlet have enhanced my teaching and my students learning. I am grateful to you for helping me bring such excitement and joy into the classroom.”

My school is nicknamed "The school with a Heart." My students are eager to learn and become better readers and writers, however we lack appropriate materials to do so. I am proud to be a staff member at my school. It is a Title I school which means that the students have high needs. My classroom works as a team. I speak to them a lot about how we all must work together to get a job done. We spend so much time together that I often refer to them as my second family. Pictures of our team adorn the walls in the classroom, making the students feel at home in their school environment.

About my class
