  • 3d Printer for Clubs/Science

    Funded Oct 5, 2018

This project has allowed my students to fully utilize their creativity during class and after school programs. Students are able to design and create their very own parts for projects. During our robotics classes students have begun to make customized parts that allow their robots to accomplish new tasks. The integration of a 3D printer has allowed students to step out from the box and create things they never thought was possible. Explore solutions that my former students never had available to them.”

  • Robotics For All Grant!

    Funded Apr 22, 2016

Thank you so very much! Your donations allowed over 140 6th grade students experience robotics and programing for two weeks straight. Students first began to use the robotics through color coding and simple drawing of lines and shapes. From there we moved onto full on block coding. Students were able to advance at their own pace since they worked in pairs. Our students loved the robots so much that they asked to continue learning with them during summer school. I have actually tied them into our break periods, so that students can continue to learn robotics and programing.

With the new school year approaching, we have already began looking into ways to push out our robotics to more grade levels. Our gifted program plans to utilize the robots during the regular school year when we are deep in curriculum. This is just one example of how we plan to get the robots to more than just 150 students. We plan to make the robots reach all 650 students on campus. I cannot thank you enough for your support and donations. You have truly enhanced the education and lives of every student on our campus.”

    With gratitude,

  • Bringing Robotics To The Masses

    Funded Aug 22, 2015

I want to thank each and every one of you for assisting my students this year. With your support we have been able to increase our robotics club size by 12 students. Students are utilizing the new kits to create their robots for competition. The overall goal is to allow 30+ students to experience robotics and foster a love for engineering. Our students are in a high poverty area, these kits allow our students to see what is outside of the poverty barrier and how to get their. Not only are the students enjoying and learning robotics, but their parents are getting involved and really enjoy seeing what their children are capable of.”

  • Replacement Dissection Tools

    Funded Apr 15, 2015

First and foremost I want to thank all those that donated and provided my class with a new set of dissection tools. The students loved having new tools to use and set the standard for how to handle and maintain their care. Students enjoyed having enough supplies to work in pairs rather than larger groups. They utilized each and every tool within the kit for their dissections. Once the dissection was over each class took time and care to thoroughly clean and decontaminate each and every tool. Students counted each tool to make sure everything was accounted for. They took such pride in their new materials. Even though they are moving on to another grade level they will still be able to utilize these tools. Their 7th grade science teacher is currently working on providing a dissection for them as well.

Students utilized the resources to dissect sheep hearts, which are almost the exact same size as their current hearts. They function the same and look the same. This allowed students to get a hands on look at their hearts, how they feel, and what they are composed of on the inside. Through hands on dissection they learned many things about their hearts they would have not learned otherwise. Your support has impacted the students lives forever, they will always remember their heart dissection and how they work.

Once again, Thank you so much for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Hall

My students are underprivileged and most days prefer to stay at school later than they are required. Our school is at 94% free and reduced lunch. Each student is unique, and they just need a little push in the right direction to become scientists. Every day I have several students that want to know what we are doing in science. It would make my world to be able to provide more experiments with working microscopes.
