  I really wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your generosity in helping to fund this project. The materials that you so kindly contributed for our classroom will make a huge difference in the education of my kindergarten students. Not only that, but knowing that each child has exactly what everyone else has is significant emotionally as well. • Classroom Rug

  Funded May 10, 2022

  Our new rug has created a wonderful learning place. Students can see where they are supposed to sit and do not leave their own learning square. They know that when they come to the rug it is for learning and they are more comfortable with the extra padding.

  The rug also brings together all other elements of the room. This helps to create a calming environment for students to learn. In a time where every student is experiencing trauma, environment is important to help settle the mind and create a safe learning place.”

• Juneteenth Celebration

Today my class and I used the materials that you so generously provided and celebrated Juneteenth together. As you can see in the photos provided, they had a great time! • 1st Grade

Today we learned about Memorial Day and engaged in a craftivity to demonstrate true understanding of this important holiday. The kids loved it! I think it's so important to teach kids about the world around them and understand the significance of days on the calendar. The other books will be used to commemorate the upcoming celebrations! • Organization Station

• Fire Safety Is A Must!

  We have been studying about school rules and being safe at school/home and this project helped our students put these skills in action. We were able to put on a presentation showcasing our knowledge and the were so excited! We have so many exciting plans for this project in the future to help our first graders explore and learn about our school and community all while being safe. We are so grateful for your donations and support of our special learners. You truly helped struggling learners make giant leaps towards success and safety expertise!”

• Making Memories and Printing Pictures

  Words can not express how grateful we are that you funded our project. For my students this year, it is the first school experience kids and families have. It is so memorable for all and being able to capture these moments throughout the year and create a keepsake for the families is priceless.

  The students were so thrilled to get new supplies and materials! they helped put it together and are taking great care of everything to make sure it all lasts for years to come.... We were told to dream big and that we are.”
