  • Back to School!

    Funded Jul 12, 2021

The materials that you so generously donated to our classroom is going to make a great impact on the students. Education has made a huge shift with more students opting to learn remotely; however, the students that come in for the hybrid learning in person are benefitting from the materials provided. They love having the nice, new, shiny materials to further enhance their learning. We are so appreciative of your generosity to our class and will continue to make good use of these supplies on a daily basis”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Rudzinski

Thank you for your generosity towards our students and classroom environment. We are all extremely thankful for your thoughtfulness. These donations will go towards building our classroom environment.

These supplies will help make the possibility of differentiating instruction a reality. Students will be able to proudly do and show their work, especially when parents come to visit our classroom. Students can take ownership of their school work. What a great way to help our students feel good in their own space!”

  • “X” Marks the Spot

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

Thank you so, so much for helping to fund this fun project.

Think back to the last time someone put a smiley face on your breakfast tab or put a heart in the foam in your morning latte. It made your day, right? Let's face it - it's the little things - and first grade is no different.

My students are so motivated by positive words, little trinkets - and recognition. Your donation helped to fill our prize box so that students are able to get those little trinkets more often to mark their amazing successes!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Rudzinski

  • Science Supplies

    Funded May 4, 2021

The science materials and art supplies that you so generously donated towards has kept a huge smile on my first graders since it arrived! We have been able to conduct some science experiments and create some projects to showcase our understanding of concepts taught and we are so very grateful for your generosity so that we would be able to do this. As we wind down the end of this unprecedented year, we look forward to being able to continue our project based learning into the next school year as well. Thank you!”

We just wanted to express our gratitude to you, specifically, for helping us during such a crazy and uncertain time. We will always be grateful to people like you for your generosity! • Making Real-World Science Connections

    Funded May 19, 2021

The students were so excited to become little gardeners/farmers and take what they have learned about life cycles of plants to plant their very own flowers and tomato seeds! Having the proper materials were extremely helpful thanks to your generous donations! The kids come into school every day, making a beeline to the our "garden corner" and check on the progress of their plants. This has been a fun unit to teach because of their enthusiasm for hands on learning. We are very thankful to you for helping us!!!”

  • From Seed to Plant

    Funded Apr 11, 2021

Thank you so much for your donations to our terrarium project! This morning everyone was so excited to create their terrariums. We learned about the history of terrariums and the reasons for each layer of soil, carbon, gravel, and decorative rocks. When we mixed the carbon with the soil one student said it looked like, "chocolate chip cookies!" We learned about botanists and talked about the study of plants and their proper care. I am thrilled that my students get to learn about taking care of the environment and plants and their needs in such a hands on meaningful way. I know that the caring for their little plants will also bring some joy and happiness to their lives at such an isolating time. Thank you for bringing this special project to my students and me!”

    With gratitude,

  • Bursting With Butterflies!

    Funded Apr 13, 2021

Our caterpillars arrived yesterday and we immediately and safely transported them into their new habitat. The students were enthralled by the size and physical characteristics of the larva, exclaiming in delight while carefully observing what they were doing. This is an incredible opportunity for us to learn hands on! They are incredibly excited to watch the metamorphosis of these insects and we are all sincerely grateful to you, the donors, for making this project come to life for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

  • Enhancing Virtual Instruction

    Funded Mar 8, 2021

Thank you for all the donations. Almost 100% of my students complete their weekly goal. The headphones make them easily focused on their work. No more noises during small group reading or math. All my students are very thankful with these headphones. Before the headphones, it was difficult for them to focus moreover answering questions. Using the speech text was impossible. The noise and chaos were becoming daily basis. It was uncomfortable and annoying. With these headphones, now teaching and learning become so much easier and fun.”
