  • April Prizes!

    Funded Apr 9, 2025

Thank you for funding my April Prizes projects! The students will love the various fidget toys and games. And these will arrive just in time for our next monthly school store.

Thank you for helping me to keep our reward store going! The kids really look forward to it, and it keeps them motivated to do their best!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DeStephanis

  • March Prizes!

    Funded Mar 16, 2025

Our March prizes arrived just in time for our March monthly reward store! The students loved the Easter/Spring rubber bracelets, stickers and bunny erasers. They always enjoy the various sensory, fidget balls and toys. And our older students always love the snacks and candies.

It's so fun seeing students walking through the halls wearing their Spring bracelets. They love to point out their new treasures when they see me. Smiles from ear to ear!

All these trinkets, toys, school supplies and treats are so motivating for our students to keep working hard and following our expectations. We are so appreciative to you for helping to make it possible each month.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DeStephanis

  • February Prizes!

    Funded Feb 5, 2025

Our February School store was a huge success! Our students love using their hard-earned school dollars to purchase snacks, school supplies and toys. Our middle school students love the various chips and food treats. And our elementary students loved the beads, finger skateboards, bubbles and mini slinkies.

The school store is highly motivating. The students want to behave appropriately to earn more school dollars to spend in the store. So, we work hard to keep the store stocked with the things they love. Thank you for helping us to make this possible.

    We appreciate you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DeStephanis

  • Valentine's Rewards!

    Funded Jan 21, 2025

I was able to "sell" these various Valentine items in our January school store - the students loved them all! We have students in all grades walking around the school with heart-shaped sunglasses and wearing Valentine's rubber bracelets and slap bracelets. It's so cute! And the Valentine's squishies and heart-shaped slinkies all "sold out!" It's fun to see kids get so excited about a holiday that is all about love and frienship.

Thank you for helping me to spread Valentine's cheer to our students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DeStephanis

  • January Rewards

    Funded Dec 31, 2024

We held our January school store and the students absolutely loved the variety of reward options which they could "buy" with their school dollars. Playdoh, slime, mini Slinkies, eye puppets and rubix cubes have become some of their favorites, so they were so happy to see those items restocked. And our middle school students love the snacks - food is definitely the way to their hearts (and brains!).

Thank you for helping me to keep our gr. 1-8 students motivated to work hard and behave well so that they can be their best!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DeStephanis

  • December Rewards

    Funded Dec 2, 2024

We had our December school store this week. Students used their hard-earned school dollars to purchase rewards. The holiday glasses, headbands, bracelets, stickers and slinkies were such a fun edition to the store for this month. And of course the chips and candies are always a very popular reward.

Thank you for helping me to spread holiday joy this week. The kids enjoyed it so much, and naturally I love seeing them so happy.

We wish you happy holidays. I hope you are as full of joy as my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DeStephanis

  • November Rewards

    Funded Nov 18, 2024

We held our school store today and the students loved all of the new items! Their eyes lit up when they saw the fidget spinners, squishies, stuffed animals, coloring books, and bouncy balls. There are lots of giggles about the ice cream shooter toys -it's really entertaining for them and me! And, of course, the chip snacks are always a big hit.

The store is so meaningful for our students. They earn their (play) money and enjoy spending it. They are learning the value of hard work and learning about saving/spending.

Thank you for helping to keep us stocked each month!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DeStephanis

  • Snacks to Fuel Learning

    Funded Oct 29, 2024

The snacks arrived! Now the Goldfish, Oreo cookies, Pringles, Scooby Doo graham crackers, fruit snacks and Rice Krispies are part of my very own "snack pantry!" I have already begun to share snacks with students who are hungry...we had a few students miss school breakfast today. It feels good to have a plan to help students in need.

I know how I feel when I'm hungry (hangry!), and no student should need to feel that way while they are at school. Thank you for helping me to help my students!

    We appreciate you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DeStephanis

  • October School Store Prizes

    Funded Oct 12, 2024

We were just able to have our monthly school store and the students loved the new items. The action figures, eyeball finger puppets, ice cream shooters and zipper bracelets were all new and the students were so excited about them. They also loved the llama stuffed animals - they were really soft and cute. And, the snacks are always a hit with our older students. The cookies, cheez-its and Starburst are just about gone already!

Thank you for helping me to keep the school store stocked with items that my students love. We are so appreciative of your generosity.

    Thanks again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DeStephanis

Our students are low income but know the value of a good education. They want to learn. My struggling readers are excited to read new books as they become more proficient. Remember that feeling when you learned to do something for the first time...you can't beat it! These are students with big dreams for college and beyond! And, I'm happy to play a part in getting them there.
