I teach 7th & 8th grade science classes in a low-income school district. I see 104 students in my classroom each day, and love seeing them get excited about the world we share through our investigations of the sciences! Owl pellet dissection pulls together so much of what we have learned about life science throughout the year and puts the "circle of life" into perspective for my kids, who didn't know a "hoot" about owls before! Children are naturally curious about our world, and watching them explore through activities such as this is a real treat!
