Good Seating and a Book!
Funded Dec 11, 2019My students are excited to use these flexible seatings in our library center. They use them during reading time. They also use them when doing class work.
My students were very happy and eager to use these flexible seatings. They loved the beautiful color of the flexible seating!
These flexible seatings have offered my students an excited way to enjoy reading a favorite book. Now, they can't wait to use these flexible seatings during silent reading time after recess and lunch. It's a real treat that keeps on giving everyday. They are motivated to read in the library center with a comfortable seat. They stay on task and are engage in their reading. This is very important in contributing to their love for reading and developing their reading literacy skills.
Again, thank you very much for your generous donations. We are very grateful!!”

Write On!
Funded Jun 15, 2018Thank you very much for your contribution to my project. My students were ecstatic when they saw that they were getting their own dry-erase marker and board.
We have started using them in math. They are very engaged in math and practicing different math problems on their board. We practiced several math skills to help them learn a concept. I have noticed a difference in their math quizzes. I have seen improvements because they had additional practice using these boards. We have also saved paper as well.
The next step for my students is continuing to practice their spelling words, vocabulary, and draw diagrams when studying health or social studies. These boards are versatile. They will last for a long time for a future use. Again, I want to thank you for your generosity. You're awesome!!”

Funded Mar 11, 2013Thank you very much for your donation. My students are enjoying all the materials we have received. I have used the match-up games as centers. This has helped them review first grade language arts concepts. The flip charts have helped my students with spelling and reading. Moreover, the big red pencils are helping my students improve their printing. They have a better grasp holding a jumbo pencil.
They also enjoy reading the sight word books and alphabet books. I have noticed that they are acquiring basic vocabulary words in their conversation and writing. My students are learning to read and I have noticed their confidence level has gone up because they have felt successful in reading these books independently.
Again, thank you for giving my students a solid jump start on learning to love to read by using all the wonderful resources you have kindly donated to our class. My students are very appreciative and thankful.”
