We are a conversion charter school that has a demographic of over 75% Title I students. Most students ride buses for over an hour just to get to school because they chose this school over closer schools for its career-oriented academy programs. These academy programs give ownership to the students for their learning and keep them interested in graduating high school. Although many classrooms are not equipped properly with the materials needed to meet our students needs, teachers have banned together to support each other. We have one of the best success rates of students graduating high school, ready to work or pursue higher education. My students are highly motivated to be successful.
