New Madrid County Central is a rural school district that incorporates all of central New Madrid County, Missouri. The residents of the county have an average per capita income of under $19,000. The low income of our base, qualifies our school to provide free breakfast and lunch to 100% of our students. NMCC serves a racially diverse population, with a growing percentage of African-American students and hispanic students. Given both the rural nature of the students we serve, and the financial standing of our families, our students do not have the technology at home that helps take them to the next level in mathematics.
