  • iPad Cases and Headphones

    Funded Sep 24, 2015

I can't fully express my joy, excitement, and gratitude for your donation to my project. It is great to see that you share my vision for ensuring all students experience the joy of learning through technology.

One of the proudest moments in a student's life is fully understanding a new concept that is being taught. With these iPads that you have helped to purchase, my students will be able to experience that joy and independence, through many different apps. Technology has become such a beneficial tool used in education and now my students will be introduced to this amazing resource.

Thank you for choosing to be my partner in this wonderful journey of teaching!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Mazzarella

  • iPads For Second Grade

    Funded Sep 16, 2015

Thank you so much!!!! My students are out of this world excited. Words cannot explain their level of happiness to the new resources added to our classroom. For most of my students this is their first time experiencing this type of technology and they are overwhelmed with joy to be afforded this opportunity.

Our iPad minis are currently used during our centers where students can look up the definition to the vocabulary words for the week, look at videos to aid their understanding of the concepts we are learning about and as an exit ticket where I determine their knowledge level.

These new resources have helped bring technology into my classroom. It has provided my students with new and exciting learning opportunities and a new fun way to access their learning and development. This also helps my students gain 21st century skills and knowledge that will help them as they progress in their academic careers and in their lives.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Mazzarella

My students are second graders in a high poverty area. I am teaching in an ICT class that includes many students who struggle academically and some students who speak very little English. Second grade is a crucial year for students to make progress in their foundational skills. Many of my students are performing below grade level and need engaging materials that make them want to keep working on their skills. The students in my class need access to additional resources to support the lessons that are taught each day.
