    Funded May 25, 2024

Thank you for supporting our classroom. This project will give the children a comfortable to work. What I love about these items is that they are foldable, so we can set them up and use them as needed without losing space in the room! We will surely gets lots

of use out of these tables and chairs.”

  • Fun With Phonics, Facts, and Math in First Grade!

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you once again for pulling together to support our classroom in getting fun activities to help build skills.

Our new supplies have been implemented in classroom activities, and the children have had the opportunity to bring them home too. The colorful materials and engaging nature of these resources help to draw in the learner and keep them motivated to keep trying. The students seem to be more motivated to practice their skills now! Even some of my more reluctant learners can't deny how fun these activities are.”

  • Interactive Reading and Math Activities!

    Funded Nov 28, 2023

These materials are very popular with my students. They were given an opportunity to borrow a game of their choosing and will have more opportunities to do so in the future. These fun activities are engaging, and even students who don't like to do any "extra" activities enjoy them.

Many of the activities are self checking, which makes it easier for families to use at home after a busy day. A few of my students even said they played school with their siblings and liked that they could teach younger siblings new things.

Thank you again for your support.”

  • Basic Supplies in First Grade

    Funded Mar 25, 2024

As the end of the school year creeps up on us, I noticed that we were running low on some basic classroom supplies. It's amazing how many pencils my students have used this year, however, I should not be surprised since they are hard workers. We now have a sufficient pencil supply to last the rest of the school year. We will be putting that new pencil sharpener to good use!

After using up our boxes of tissues during cold season, we are now prepared to handle allergy season with our new supply.”

  • We Love Boom Cards! Help Us to Get More!

    Funded Feb 13, 2024

My students have been enjoying the Boom Cards I was able to purchase for them. We often add them to our phonics lessons. Once the children see the Boom Cards up on the screen, they are instantly motivate to learn and participate.

Boom Cards are also assigned as a homework activity. The children start cheering when I announce that a new deck will be posted to work on at home.

The Boom Cards have definitely motivated some of my more reluctant students to look forward to learning. I am so excited to see THEM excited about learning.”

    With gratitude,

  • We Love This Homework!

    Funded Oct 31, 2023

Thank you again for supporting our classroom. My students have had a chance to borrow reading and math games from our new game library. To say they were excited to borrow a game is an understatement!

Some of my students told me they played with their game the first night they brought it home. I was so happy to hear that they enjoyed playing the games, which is part of their homework.

The children will be able to choose a new game on a rotating basis. With all the different types of games we have available, they will be able to find something fun to play each week while practicing important skills.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Keenan Ellul

  • Focus! Focus! Wiggle!

Our wonderful donors have done it again! My students will certainly benefit from these materials when they get wiggly! I have a feeling they will all want a turn to try out these very cool and useful items. Thank you again for your continued support of my first grade students.”

    With gratitude,

  • Making Lessons Come Alive!

    Funded May 15, 2020

Thank you for helping to fund a projector! This projector has helped me to bring music and movement into the classroom more often. Videos that correlate to what is taught in the classroom are now incorporated into lessons.

The students enjoy being able to move while learning! Their favorite activities are Jack Hartman videos and videos they can dance along with.

These activities have especially helped students who are sometimes too shy to participate. Since the "spotlight" isn't on any one child, they have been participating more in class. This is both exciting to myself and those students.”

My students are curious little people who love to explore books. Our reading area is quite popular with the students in my class. The reading area is so popular that we often run out of seating. Students who have a comfortable place to sit tend to spend more time reading compared to those who sit on a carpet. A child sized couch and reading chair would help encourage longer visits to our reading area.
