My students are in both second and third grades, NOT a combo class but a MultiAge classroom; we work to meet students at THEIR level and meet THEIR needs. I intend to help my students become READERS and help them to increase their grade level reading ability by at least 1.5 grade levels this school year. Knowing that reading on grade level by the end of third grade is crucial to student academic success going forward, I wish to provide books for them to enjoy! Many of my students are Second Language Learners who enjoy books but have limited access to them at home or have limited abilities to get to out local library.

About my class
