The materials I've ordered will promote reading beyond the classroom, giving access to materials students can use to build comprehension, literacy, and language. While these are not instructional materials specifically, they are books and novels students can read to promote their learning outside the confines of the school. Giving students access to books, in order to build vocabulary and literacy is a lifelong skill, used in whatever profession my students someday pursue. These materials will make all the difference in filling in the many gaps in learning and educational time lost during the COVID crisis.
