  • Leading to Achieving

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

I am writing to express my deepest thanks for your recent donation to my donors choose project. Generous gifts from donors like you provide the financial and moral support needed in our public school classrooms.

Your support has demonstrated your deep commitment to education.

There is no way to fully express our gratitude for your kindness. My students and I are continually inspired by the dedication and generosity of donors like yourself who answer the call to give.

This document camera has certainly improved the way I can teach my students.”

    With gratitude,

  • Starting With S.T.E.A.M.

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so much for funding my proposal Starting With STEAM. We were so excited to receive these robotics kits. As technology advances it is a great way to incorporate the capabilities into the Science curriculum. Devices such as this can spark a high level of creativity. My students are busy assembling their robots and learning how to program them. I am currently working on developing some exciting lessons so that my students can be challenged in solving problems using these kits. The smiles on their faces were priceless when we have received the shipment.”

  • School Stinks Without Printer Ink

    Funded Dec 20, 2017

I so appreciate your contribution to my School Stinks Without Printer Ink project. You truly did a wonderful thing. Your generosity has directly benefited all of my students and their families. I am able to print out reference images, vocabulary sheets, progress reports, quick translation guides for my language learners. This is all due to your financial support. Words can not express how grateful my students and I are.

Again, thanks so much for all you've done. We truly appreciate your kindness.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Krumgalz

  • Please Don't Hesitate, Technology Is Needed to Educate

    Funded Aug 1, 2017

I can not thank you enough for this amazing gift you have granted me and my students. These computers have revolutionized our Science classroom. Many of my students have benefited from digital note taking. This has allowed students to index and organize their study materials automatically, quickly search for information by keyword and share notes with other students. One of the biggest advantages of the laptops is that they allow students to access information. But the most extreme improvement I have noticed is with my English Language Learners. With the use of translating tools they are able to make connections with ease and if there is a language barrier we can easily pull up visual supports to help. We are so grateful to you and your contributions. Thank you again for innovative tools.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Krumgalz

  • Powering Up with Printing

    Funded Jan 15, 2015

My students got so excited when I told them that the big box delivered to my classroom was actually a gift for them from very generous people. You should have seen all that excitement as we were opening the box and unpacking the brand new printer! Coming from many different countries, it was hard for many of them to comprehend that in American schools you can receive a gift like that from people who don't know you. They were so happy that now that can print their projects in the classroom.

The delivery could not have happen at a better time. We have just finished working on a mineral project. They loved to see the product of their work being printed in color and hanged in my classroom. I was so happy to see how proud they were of their work and how all of them started asking when we can do it again.

You have made my job so much easier by allowing me to teach my students how to use Microsoft programs to present their research projects.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Krumgalz

My students have to overcome many language barriers, learn the English language and required school concepts with little or no help from their parents. Their parents are unable to help them in the educational area due to lack of knowledge and understanding of the English language as well as knowledge of these concepts. My students work hard and often support their mothers and fathers by running household errands and watching younger siblings. Unfortunately, another aspect my student share is that the majority (+65%) of the families in my school are struggling financially.
