My third graders are unique! Most of them come from different cultural backgrounds, live in needy homes, and still strive to learn. My school is their second home and where they feel safe and nurtured. Economical hardship is so unfair for these children that have the thirst of learning a new language and have to put up with this technology based world in an unfunded school.
