My students are 30 loving but very needy 4th graders. I teach in an inner city school in a high crime and high poverty area in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I work in a public school and teach a "regular" fourth grade class. I currently have 8 Special Need students and 5 ESOL student in my class. They can not afford simple supplies such as books. All of the students at my school receive free breakfast as well as free lunch. I would love to improve my students' lives and bring a smile to their face.
