My students are in fourth grade and have a hunger for learning I've never seen with 9 year olds. I have an extremely varied class with many different types of learners all working together for the common goal of discovering knowledge. They work out ideas together and build their own understanding through projects and reading or math units of study. Right now I use the computers in our room to teach metaphors as in "Our computers are dinosaurs." If we were able to add a computer to our search of knowledge, my kids would be unstoppable!
