Our school is a family. We care about each other and support one another. I am not only a teacher of 85 6th graders - I try to turn every interaction with students into a learning lesson. It doesn't matter if I am teaching how to be kind to one another, how to add to make sure they have enough money for lunch, or an actual science lesson in class, I focus on spreading my love of learning to others. I know that if I take the time to invest in them, I will have a huge payoff.
