Much Adieu about Math
Funded Aug 19, 2024Thank you so much for your generous support to our classroom! The new resources you've provided have had an incredible impact on my students and our approach to learning.
Once students were introduced to these new resources, their level of engagement skyrocketed. Many of the games have also allowed me to work with students individually or in small groups, assess their understanding, and provide immediate feedback. This has helped me tailor lessons to meet the diverse needs of my students.
Thanks to your support, my students now have a renewed enthusiasm for learning, and it's clear that the hands-on, game-based approach has made a lasting impact. We're not just doing math—we're playing, problem-solving, and building confidence in new ways.
Thank you again for making this possible.”

Clean and Germ Free!
Funded Aug 31, 2023I cannot thank you enough for all the cleaning supplies you so generously supplied. My students have learned to keep our classroom "clean and germ free". They understand the importance of having a clean working space and now strive to keep things neat and picked up. Our daily end of the day routine has made every student more responsible and proud of our learning space. Students use sanitizing wipes to clean desks and tables at the end of each day. Our "grounds keeper" has the role of sweeping up the floor, which is a much sought after position. Again, I can't thank you enough for all the supplies. They will hopefully get us through the winter months with less sickness.”

Funded Sep 1, 2022Again, I can't thank you enough for the book bags for my students. Students were so excited to be able to pick their colored bag and learn that they could bring it home with a book of their choosing. They could bring the book back the next day to exchange for another or keep it longer if it's a chapter book. Currently, we are learning about freedom and American symbols in our reading series. Students love taking similar classroom books home to read with a family member or independently. This exposes my students to more books on a daily basis and includes family in the learning process. Thank you for giving my students this opportunity.”

Stand and Succeed!
Funded Dec 20, 2019I cannot express how thankful I am for the two standing desks! My students were over the moon when we received them. They immediately were coming up with a plan on who was going to get to use them first.
The desks are being used to improve student focus, collaboration and overall classroom culture. My students know that if they need a place to get away from distractions they can easily move to one of the available desks. These desks give them the opportunity to think more clearly and focus on the task at hand. Collaboration is also improved in many ways. Students are so used to sitting all the time, which made working together and movement more challenging. These desks can be moved together to encourage teamwork and improve social skills. Finally, overall classroom culture is improved. The classroom has become a place where the "one size fits all" desk is not longer effective for student success. These standing desk are giving my students the opportunity to have a better classroom experience.
Thank you again for your generosity and thoughtfulness. We are very appreciative!”
