    During dramatic play, students are able to be imaginative and creative with their peers. These added foods have given us the ability to answer questions students have about the different foods and teach differences within the classroom.

In our schools, there are over 80 different languages and cultures represented. We need to provide our students with different resources to help learn differences, acceptance, and respect for all. My students would benefit from having access to different multicultural food items in the classroom to help gain awareness about differences within their community and their peers. With these resources, we will work together to help students see their identities included in their learning and provide more learning opportunities about cultural equity. These resources will allow students to have a more inclusive environment to learn.

About my class
