    Loud noises, especially during field trips and convocations can be a way that students do not want to participate or be around others. With these headphones, students are able to join in on all of the fun and be with their peers. Many students need this support. As loud busy places are a sensory overload for them, these headphones allow the students to learn, grow, have fun, and have first hand experience with the activity we are doing.

    These headphones are a great way for students to learnt heir own unique needs and advocate for what they need.

  • Balancing Act

    These small balancing boards have been a great way for the students to work on not only their gross motor skills but engineerig skills. The students have been able to manipulate and move these boards into different patterns and pathways for them to walk. Not only are the students having to balance while walking, but they are also having to zig and zag throughout the boards to navigate their way to the end of the path.

    The students are able to create many different pathways and directions to have many students participate and work on their gross motor skills.”

    This classroom project was brought to life by an Anonymous Classroom Supporter and 7 other donors.
In our schools, there are over 80 different languages and cultures represented. We need to provide our students with different resources to help learn differences, acceptance, and respect for all. My students would benefit from having access to different multicultural food items in the classroom to help gain awareness about differences within their community and their peers. With these resources, we will work together to help students see their identities included in their learning and provide more learning opportunities about cultural equity. These resources will allow students to have a more inclusive environment to learn.

About my class
