  • Is My Memory Good?

    The students are loving the new game. This memory games has been engaging and fun. The students are learning how to take turns, play and create good problem solving skills with their memory, and work as a team. The memory game is a great way for the youngest of learners to sharpen their mind, but in a fun and playful way.

    Thank you for helping us get these games within the classrooms. The students are always eager to challenge their next opponent. The student love it when they are able to beat me at memory!”

  • Outdoor Gross Motors

    The students are enjoying all the new balls and carts for our outdoor playground and gym. These toys have been such a great addition to the gym for indoor recess and activity time during these cold winter months. These balls have been great with helping see the students that do not usually use their big muscles to shoot hoops, kick, and play with their peers and be moving. These balls are a great way for students to practice their gross motor skills and they are engaging and the students love to go to the gym and play in something that fits them.

  • Riding Around

    The students love these tricycles. I am so thankful that we recieved a tricycle that was a different size. Many of the students are using the tricycle during indoor gross motor time. The size of this trikes has allowed many of the students to ride around and use their gross motor skills that they have not been able to do. This bike has been used in the hallway as well. We are assessing how well a students uses a trike and if they need any adaptations in order to access a trike while they are here. Thank you!”

  • Stay Full and Stay Engaged

    Thank you so much for helping us get the snacks we need. These snacks have been a huge asset with the students in order to fill up their bellies while they can focus on learning. At this age, foundational skills are a must. With the snacks, we have been able to fill them up and they have been able to show me how much they have learned already. These have been used throughout this new school year to keep the students engaged and ready to learn.

In our schools, there are over 80 different languages and cultures represented. We need to provide our students with different resources to help learn differences, acceptance, and respect for all. My students would benefit from having access to different multicultural food items in the classroom to help gain awareness about differences within their community and their peers. With these resources, we will work together to help students see their identities included in their learning and provide more learning opportunities about cultural equity. These resources will allow students to have a more inclusive environment to learn.

About my class
