My class is a diverse group of 3rd grade children from New Hampshire. About 35% of our students receive free or reduced lunch and 13% are English Language Learners. The students come from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. They are excited to learn new concepts but many lack the proper background knowledge to fully comprehend the information. They also need the opportunity to build technology skills, especially concerning research and information fluency. I want to provide a safe and enriching community for my students who face struggles outside of the classroom. Incorporating technology will help support literacy across all curriculum areas.
