Using technology, it will allow students to record their voice, share their ideas orally instead of writing. Japanese is not commonly spoken in our area, so it is important for students to have an authentic audience to share what they do and exchange their learning. Having Chromebooks in the classroom will allow students to connect with students in Japan or students who are learning Japanese in the United States. Technology will provide many opportunities to practice their language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Students will be able to use Chromebooks in their language center while a teacher is giving small group instruction.
