Our school is in a neighborhood with families from all walks of life. We have families who live in luxury homes and a few who are homeless. We have been a Title One school because of the number of lower income families. Our students are known for their diversity, depth of character and genuine kindness. We are a school with a big heart for our students and their families. We're also known for the giving, dedicated, and tireless staff. We provide many after school enrichment programs to strive for excellence in education. Our families devote countless volunteer hours in the classrooms, in our gardens, helping with fundraisers for the chorus or Special Friends. Our military neighbors also play a big part in our school activities such as our Fitness Meets and Jog a Thon. My class of 21 students is an energetic bunch and eager to learn. They are enthusiastic about everything we are learning in school and are becoming a great community of learners and close friends.
