    Funded May 24, 2024

Thank you very much for your generous donation to our classroom. My students and I appreciate your thoughtfulness, and it was incredibly kind of you to assist the children as they transitioned back to school this year.

You have helped to keep our classroom a clean and inviting place for everyone to learn. Absenteeism negatively impacts the learning of students when they are missing daily instruction. The students are doing a great job of using disinfecting wipes, sanitizer, and Kleenex to help stop the spread of germs.

Please know that you have made a positive impact on the education experience of many students. We appreciate your kindness, and we cannot thank you enough.”

    With gratitude,

    Funded May 7, 2024

Thank you! I truly appreciate your generosity. I can not express enough how your gift has impacted my students.

As an educator, I always look for innovative ways to bring the outside world to my students. I try to make world connections by giving them ideas and concepts that they find relevant to their everyday lives. Sometimes, it's a rather difficult task due to limited resources.

Your donation to our classroom has broadened their views of the world in which we live. It has excited them about changing our world to make it a better place for their future. The magazines have piqued their interest and have made Social Studies and Science more enjoyable and exciting for them. They are intrigued with embarking on adventures in their minds to the various places that this magazine introduces them to. None of this could have been possible without your generous donation.

Thank you so very much for jump-starting my year and I look forward to the loads of fun that we will have with our new subscription of Scholastic News and Science Spin magazines.”

  • Fun and Games at Recess Time!

    Funded May 22, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. My new students were so excited to hear that indoor recess would mean new games to play. I was planning on using these games and coloring books for the cold weather, but due to extreme heat we have already had to stay inside. The students were not disappointed at all.

These games have had a positive impact on our classroom. They not only provide entertainment but also foster connections and engagement among the students. The students who love the arts are also enjoying the new coloring materials, allowing them to express their creativity and imagination.

Thanks for setting our classroom up for some fun this school year. You have made a positive impact on the life of a child.”

  • Read, Read, Read!

    Funded Jan 25, 2024

Thank you so much for your generosity to our classroom with the wonderful donation of books.

Each night the students are expected to spend time reading independently as part of their homework. Many students have electronics at home and would rather play games than complete their nightly reading. Now with these new books, their desire to read has been re-ignited. They have been so excited to pick out a book to bring home to share with their families. My students love Greg and Rowley from "Diary of a Wimpy Kid", as well as George and Harold from "Captain Underpants". These characters are relatable to my students and they love to find out what next adventure they will be taking them on.

Thank you once again for bringing our classroom library back to life with these new and exciting books!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Carey

  • Let's Read about Inspirational People!

    Funded Apr 25, 2023

Thank you so much for the incredible gift of these biography books! You have helped to support a love of learning and reading in my classroom through your generous donations. The stories we received of famous people inspire my students to believe in themselves and know that they, too, can achieve just about anything they set their minds to!

These wonderful stories encourage my students to challenge themselves to grow both academically and in their character. They are motivating my students to become better readers and are fostering a love for reading and learning that I am hopeful will carry with them throughout their futures.

I cannot thank you enough for giving my students this wonderful gift. Please know that you are changing the lives of so many children.”

  • “Hear Ye, Hear Ye!”

    Funded Apr 9, 2023

Thank you so much for your very generous donation to our classroom. My students and I really appreciate your thoughtfulness.

The students are enjoying the gift of sound. The headphones are amazing! The students are now able to work on their individualized math program on the computer without the classroom background noise. The math program walks students through problem-solving steps by providing them with video lessons. These lessons reinforce concepts students are struggling with in the classroom. It presents the material in a new and engaging format. When they can not hear what is being taught to them the program becomes useless. I am so excited for the students to be able to start to use their math program again fully.

I cannot thank you enough for giving my students this wonderful gift. Please know that you are changing the lives of so many children for the better.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Carey
