  • Be Compassionate, Be Kind To All Students

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

I was overjoyed and filled with gratitude when this project was fully funded. Thank you so much for your generosity. It means so much to my students. It was a pleasure being able to provide snacks to my students and demonstrate compassion. It was because of you that I was able to meet some of the needs of my students. They were so excited and grateful to know that people like yourselves demonstrate kindness and compassion to strangers. I look forward to hearing them tell me about how they want to demonstrate kindness to others all because someone was kind to them.

    Thank you again.”

    With gratitude,

  • Leveling Up Stem Art

    Funded Oct 30, 2023

Thank you for your generosity towards me and my students. We acknowledge your giving hearts and we are filled with gratitude. With the materials that you gave to my students, now they have an opportunity to be creative and personalize their very own rugs with the tufting gun kit. As an educator, I feel that it is so important for our students to learn new crafts and perfect crafts that they have been taught. I love seeing the results of my students trying something new and stepping outside of their comfort zones. This encourages me to continue to bring STEM activities into my classroom. Thank you again.”

  • Making Buttons Our Way!

    Funded Aug 25, 2022

Thank you very much for you kindness and generosity toward us. My students really appreciate having a button making in the class. They were so excited about learning how to create their own buttons. After reading the novel, A Long Walk To Water, they started brainstorming ideas about how we can help counties that have a low supply of clean water. They wanted to make buttons so that teachers, students, and family members would become aware of the water shortage. This button maker is such a great asset in our classroom because it gives our students opportunities to be creative. Thank you again for supporting our class.”

  • Conquering the World One Skien at a Time

    Funded Jan 13, 2023

We really appreciate your generosity toward our Crochet Club. This is the first year that we have offered Crochet Club to our middle school students. Our students were so thrilled to have the opportunity to learn how to crochet. With your donation, you gave my students so much joy because they were able to choose different color yarns to make wearable items. I am looking forward to watching my student grow in this skill. Once again, we really appreciate and thank you for your kindness towards us.”

  • Cozy Reading Nook

    Funded Aug 6, 2022

Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. We really appreciate your generosity towards our class. When my students walked in and saw the Reading Nook, they were so excited. They could not wait to curl up with a book on the bean bags and read. Every day, my students come in wanting to sit on the bean bags. Having flexible sitting is such a special treat because it gives my students options. At times the bean bags are so much more comfortable than the classroom chairs. Once again your kindness is truly appreciated.”

    Mrs. Terrell

  • Focused and Stress Free

    Funded May 4, 2022

My students are very excited and appreciative of the new fidgets. Instead of making tapping noises, my students have fidgets to help keep them focused in class. These fidgets do not disrupt our classroom.

When my students first saw the fidgets they couldn't believe their eyes. They were very grateful.

We are so grateful and thankful for your generous donations. Every time I let a student choose a fidget their faces light up. It truly gives me joy to be able to give a student a tool that is fun to have but it also helps them to be focused in class. It's a win, win situation.”

  • Showing Off Our School Spirit

    Funded Dec 17, 2021

Thank you so much for making donations to my class. We really appreciate your generosity towards us. With the supplies, my students were able to create their own school shirt that represent their school spirit. This was such a great activity because the students had fun being creative as they designed their first shirt. Because of your generosity, we will be able to design hoodies as well. My students are looking forward to this activity that is soon to come. Designing school shirts gives my students an opportunity to build a positive classroom climate. They are very kind and helpful to one another. Thank you again.”

  • Give a Kid a Book

    Funded Nov 11, 2021

Give A Kid A Book project has impacted my students greatly. Every book I received was a graphic novel. One of the books was a short read but based on a true story and two of my students enjoyed it so much. That they read the book out loud to the whole class. These students are diverse learning with English as a second language. I was so proud of them and honored to have this opportunity to share these books. I look forward to my students reading the graphic novel about the Holocaust as well. Thank you again for your generosity towards my students it is truly greatly appreciated.”

  • Decorating Graduation Caps

    Funded Jul 20, 2021

I would like to take the time to say thank you to everyone that donated supplies for my students to decorate their graduation caps. The students were so excited and they really appreciate your generosity. This impacted my students in a great way. They had a variety of supplies and the opportunity to decorate their caps. This meant so much to my students because due to Covid-19 they were not able to walk across the stage. But my students were able to showcase their decorated graduation caps during a drive-by ceremony we held for them at the school. It was very nice to see the decorated caps. Thank you again for your generosity.”

With the Cricut Maker, my students will make pillows for the sick children in the hospital. The Cricut Maker will cut the fabric that we will use to make soft comforting pillows for those in need. This will be the first of many projects that my students will work on using the Cricut Maker. At my school, we have community days. This is when teachers and students participate in a service-learning activity. We will also use the Cricut Maker all year long, creating, beautifying our school, and we will continue to have community-based projects. During the holidays, we will create gifts for our students to give to someone. Students can have labels made to personalize their belongings such as book bags, folders, notebooks, and other personal items.
