  • No One Left Behind!

    Funded Jan 12, 2022

My students utilized the equipment's to help them get in shape and train in confidence. The snacks they received made a great impact. My students are always hungry so this was a great motivation and incentive to attend weekly practices.

The cooler we received did wonders for the team, the students stayed hydrated during practices and on competition days.

When we received the nets for the basketball hoop the students jumped for joy because we were missing a lot. This was a great way to start the basketball season. Our entire school population was able to benefit from the nets we received. We are forever grateful and so appreciative of all the donations received. Thank you for making such an impact on our school.”

  • Achieve Fitness with Healthy Eating!

    Funded Nov 6, 2019

Just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We were able to have such a successful cross country and track and field season because of your generous contributions of healthy snacks and drinks.

My team came to practice twice a week knowing that they will have a healthy snack and stay hydrated while training.

When we attended our meets we walked proud knowing we were well equipped with our snacks. The students are so thankful they could not believe all those snacks and Gatorade belonged to the team through your generous donations.”

  • Starting The Year Off With a Bang!

    Funded Oct 24, 2019

My students jumped for joy when they saw the pots, spatulas, composition notebooks, and oven mittens. They could not believe that someone they did not know took such great interest in their education and donate to our classroom project.

We utilized all these items weekly during our kitchen labs. So far we've baked and compete at the innovate challenge where we won first place. We also prepared a thanksgiving feast macaroni and cheese was on the menu so the colander came in very handy. These materials really helped built my students confidence in the kitchen as well as in the classroom.

We are so thankful and appreciative for all the items donated.”

  • Bright Minds...Brighter Future!

    Funded Oct 24, 2018

My students was so amazed with excitement when the laptops arrived. Most of my students are now caught up on the online homework given to them because they have access to the laptops within the classroom, as well as before and after school.

They could not believe we were able to get the laptops donated which they have access to all the time. Most of these students do not have internet access or computers at home which prevents them from completing the required assignments thus affecting their grades in those core academic classes.

We are very thankful for all your generosity because without your donation none of this would be possible. This as truly made a positive impact on the lives of many students! Thank you, thank you and thank you again!”

  • Creativity 3Doodler Style!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

We are extremely grateful for the Doodlers received. This gave my students the opportunity to express themselves in many different creative ways. When they first arrived the students became very curious and excited to see what they could create. Once we broke open the package they took off and the magic began. Some of my students have never seen the doodlers before while others have seen commercials and always wanted one but due to their financial circumstances could not afford to purchase one.”

  • So Fresh and So Clean!

    Funded Jan 25, 2016

When the resources arrived the students were all overwhelmed with joy. The students from my F.E.A club made posters showcasing all the materials we received so the entire school population is aware of the supplies that was available. We had a designated area where the materials were stored and students came in on specific days to get the things they were in need of. The first day we began handing out supplies we had a line outside the door with students in need of these life essential items. For the students who could not make it on the specified days we brought the supplies to them.

The students were ecstatic when they first say the materials. They could not believe that we were giving it to them free of cost. Some was a bit hesitant at first because they thought they had to pay for it, but when they realized it was all for free they were so appreciative and wanted to know how was this possible. We informed them about all the generous donations we received from individuals we cared about their well-beings and also about The Donors Choose Team who made this all possible.

The next steps I intend to take for my students is to continue educating them on the importance of taking care of themselves and maintaining good personal hygiene. Through the F.E.A. club who meets twice a week we plan to make posters with tips on healthy eating habits and the importance of having good hygiene. Again we are so thankful and without your contribution none of this would be possible!”

  • Tools For Programming Generation Y!

    Funded Nov 20, 2015

Thank you so much for your generous donation. My students growth and progress using the Microsoft Surface 3 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 shows in their weekly data. Your contributions have truly made an impact in my classroom. The students in my class use the technology most of the time in order to complete Edgenuity. Edgenuity is a computer program that is used as a form of remediation on previously taught lessons that the students did not quite understand. They also use them to complete their vocabulary squares and conduct research on assigned projects. The computer program is designed to assist struggling students to better understand standards through mini videos, vocabulary and assessment. Most of these students do not have computer at home or they don't have internet access so they are not able to complete the assigned benchmark to improve their understanding.

The students are very excited about the stylus pen that comes with the Surface and they also love the fact that they can touch the screen or use the pen. Another feature that they really appreciate is Microsoft office. They are able to do research and type up their responses and save all at the same time.

Some of my students who have never used a stylus or have never seen a touch screen tablet before really warmed up to having it in the classroom. These students try to complete all their assignments on time so they can have classroom time to use these technology and to explore all of the exciting features that they have.

Again, Thank you so much and we are forever grateful for this contribution!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. King
