  • Science & Robots with Legos

    Funded Dec 18, 2017

I want to thank you for your generous donation. For some times we haven't been able to use the robots we have because there are so many pieces missing. Some are very tiny and looks just like my floor so they're easy to lose. My students were so excited when I told them we were getting the robots back out. They have been trying so hard to take care of all the materials.

Because we have the robots, we are able to use them to learn so much in science! Just this week, my fourth graders made a car to learn about speed and forces. Third grade made a robot that can pull things. My energy club made a video game controller with them. Next week my second grades are using them to make an earthquake simulator. The robot parts you've purchased for me has helped my students with hands on learning. They are now able to apply the knowledge I have given them and they are very engaged.

This donation has made a huge impact in my classroom and in my students' education. My students and I truly appreciate it.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Haehlen

  • School Garden

    Funded Apr 18, 2017

I want to personally thank you for your generous donation to our school garden. Although our garden isn't completely set up yet, my students have already learned so much from getting to put together materials to just talking about what our garden needs & what plants need. We are still putting down mulch, soil, etc. so we are still a work in progress. The kids are really seeing how much work goes into a garden.

This is such an awesome opportunity for my students. Most of my students do not get to experience things like this and I am thrilled that I get to expose them to other experiences because of great people like you. They were SOOO excited to get the materials, open them and put them together. You could feel how excited they are about this garden.”

  • Indoor Garden

    Funded Sep 17, 2017

I want to personally thank you for your generous donation to my school. I truly appreciate you.

My plants just arrived a few days ago and the students have already had a great time transferring them into the pots. The other students have noticed the plants around the room and they ask about them, which is a great class starter. I've had students come tell me about plants they have at their house. They ask good questions about if they will get enough sunlight there or why can this plant be inside but not the other ones. I think it also brightens the look of my classroom a little.

I can't wait to watch my students take care of them and see how big they will grow. I hope this sparks an interest in my students while they learn about plants. So, from the bottom of my heart, my students and I thank you.”
