• Student Leaders- Learning and Teaching Culture

  Thank you so much for making this project come to life. The students were amazing leaders as they shared their knowledge about the different countries and cultures they had learned about. The students took great pride and honor in teaching the community about the traditions and foods they prepared for them to taste. The school community enjoyed the students showcasing their leadership skills as they were able to experience different cultures from around the world. Thank you so much for allowing these leaders to share with the community what they learned. Thank you once again for believing in the leaders of today and tomorrow.”

• Personal and Private Pouch Pride

  Thank you for helping build the confidence of our students by providing simple hygiene resources. The students were so proud of their hygiene kits and bags. They repeatedly asked if it was theirs to keep. It brought so much joy to our hearts to reassure them it was theirs to keep and use as needed. The students were relieved that no one would be able to make fun of them due to the lack of proper hygiene maintenance. Now they were confident when walking into class and were ready to learn and soar to success in the classroom.

• Retain, Regain and Refrain From the Covid Gap!

  Funded Feb 9, 2023

  Thank you for your donation to my project. Through your generous contributions we were able to close the COVID gap. My students grew a significant amount through having these hands on, take home practice activities. They were always excited to see what take home activity they were going to get for the week. Students became so motivated that they wanted to take two or more activities with them. They were eager to learn after the school day had ended. Many of my students became the "tutor" to younger siblings and family members. Your investment helped my students grow on district assessment by seventy five percent. Not only did they grow academically but their self confidence sky rocketed and they are soaring to new heights. Thank you for helping build my students academically and emotionally bu believing in them. We appreciate all your support.”

• Summer Science Study Bags

  Thank you for helping my students find a new love of science. They truly loved all the hands on activities with all the supplies. They have enjoyed using their science journals to reflect on everything they have learned through camp this year. They were so excited that they were able to take the materials home and continue learning and observing in the community around where they live. You have ignited the love of science and learning. Thank you for believing and investing in our super scientist of the future.”

• Home Sweet Home Math

  Funded Aug 7, 2022

  Thank you for your contribution to our Home Sweet Home Math project. Your donation has made such a powerful impact with our students, their families and the community. The bags that were created have started to build a bridge of mathematical connections between school and home for the students and their families.

  The students are allowed to check out a bag for the week and take it home to read the book and play the activity with their family and friends. Many of the students look forward to getting a new bag each week and show off what they have learned at school. The students have built amazing communication skills and confidence because they become the teacher at home and are teaching how to play or complete the activity. The families have shared how they appreciate to opportunity to see what their child is learning at school and just how much fun they are having learning the "new math" too.

• Math Matters

  Thank you once again for helping my students become amazing math students with all the hands on materials. My students are growing and gaining a better understanding of basic math concepts by using the base ten blocks, counters, playing bingo and all the hands on resources that you provided for us. They are even beginning to learn and recognize just how fun and valuable math is in our everyday lives.

  The students look forward to seeing which resources they can use from their math tool kit. It has become a game of its own to see how many different tools they can use to solve their work. I am so proud to watch them shine and their confidence grow with the help of the materials. I appreciate your help and dedication to our future. Thank you for helping build a firm mathematical foundation for our future leaders.”

• Summer Is the Right Time to Study and Play!

  Your donation has made learning become more engaging for the students. They love their take home materials and bags. It allows them fun ways to show what they are learning. It also allows them to engage their families and share what they are learning with them too.

  My students are eager to have their new take home learning bags each week because they can't wait to see what kind of learning activities, they will have for the week. They are always so excited to share what they learned and how much fun it was. We are so grateful that you have helped us to promote learning at home with our students.

  My students are making great gain and progress since utilizing these new take home learning bags. I am so proud of their hard work and dedication to closing the gaps that were created during the pandemic. • Austin Bound for Success

  Thank you so much for your generous donations. The students loved learning about the state capital, Texas history, the six flags over Texas and the Bob Bullock Museum. This experience was amazing! The students were so excited. This opportunity would not be possible without the financial support you provided. MST is 70% economically disadvantaged. The funding this project received was a crucial part of the foundation for this field trip. The students worked to earn portions of the trip and genuinely loved the experience!”
