Adapting to Different Devices
Funded Sep 11, 2023Thank you for the very generous donation you have shared with our school and our students. It means a lot for them. I did let them know about your generosity and I am sure that when they see the store brand Panda, they'll put a smile on their face and tell their parents.
These attachments are so important for us as most technologies are adapting to new trends from USB-A to USB-c. This is a sure way to a better solution than buying new or completely discarding the old devices.
We use these adaptors to a micro-computer called microbit in which our students are always excited to use in STEM.”

Funded Mar 27, 2018On behalf of the PS 246 School Choir and choir coordinators, we would like to thank you for your generous donation towards our attendance at this year's American Young Voices Concert at The Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
On the evening of Thursday June 8th, our students performed alongside 7000+ other children from choirs all over the tri-state area. They enjoyed live music and performances by professional singers, musicians, and dancers that for many of them was a first time experience they will now have for a lifetime. It was an exciting evening in more ways than one and the energy was felt in every part of the concert hall. It was an opportunity for our students to be a part of something special, with children outside of their local community, and it would not have been possible without your kind support and help in raising the money for our students and parents to attend the concert by bus to and from our school.
We thank you again and we hope we were able to convey our gratitude and appreciation.

Funded Mar 9, 2016Dear donor,
On behalf of the PS 246 School Choir and choir coordinators, we would like to thank you for your generous donation towards our attendance at this 2016 American Young Voices Concert at The Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
On the evening of Thursday, May 26, 2016 our students performed alongside 6000 other children from choirs all over the tri-state area. They enjoyed live music and performances by professional singers, musicians, and dancers that for many of them was a first time experience they will now have for a lifetime. One fifth grader approached me the following day and said,"Thank you for bringing us to the concert Mr. Verdeflor!" The excitement started as soon as they boarded the beautiful charter bus that came from your generosity. It was an exciting evening in more ways than one and the energy was felt in every part of the concert hall. It was an opportunity for our students to be a part of something special, with children outside of their local community, and it would not have been possible without your kind support and help in raising the money for our students and parents to attend the concert by bus to and from our school.
We thank you again and we hope we were able to convey our gratitude and appreciation.”

Education Through Information Technology
Funded Apr 27, 2006I nearly forgot about my request for the class on DonorsChoose. At this moment, I am very much surprised to have received this notice. I am feeling so excited, but my students will surely be leaping for joy that what I promised them will finally come true. Although, we're almost at the end of the school year, they would still enjoy using them. The next batch will also be lucky.
This afternoon, I had attended a training in the use of "smart-board" that also uses a laptop. Very timely that the class will receive it. To the person or the people who have given the donation for our request, in the name of my class, thank you for your generosity. I also thank the Donor's Choose organization.
Sincerely,
Lito E. ”
