My students are excited when they come to me for visual art. They are so smart and creative and eager to make art. They like to draw and paint all kinds of things. They are eager to try new projects and experiment with different materials and colors. They tell me that art is their favorite subject and quite a few want to be an artist when they grow up. Their enthusiasum is infectious and they take pride in all of the art projects they create. Our school is located in a poor area of New York and we are underfunded. My students try hard and they are determined to do well in all of their subjects. They are polite and eager to learn about the world and other people. I am proud of my students because they are so determined to succeed in everything they do.
