  • Help Feed Our Little Bellies!

    Funded Dec 4, 2024

Thank you so much for our play food, play appliances, play utensils, and play pots and pans. Playing with food is an important part to the students in my class, helping with their development. You have allowed my students to play with their food, utensils, pots and pans. They are learning about the world and developing a more relaxed and positive association with a variety of foods. This has also encouraged their senses and stimulated their curiosity.

This type of play is fostering my students cognitive development and problem solving skills.

This pretend play is encouraging their creativity and imagination.

My students are able to experiment with different ways to manipulate and interact with their food. It is also a social experience. When my students play with their food together, it is promoting cooperation, communication, and sharing. My students are able to recreate dishes that their families make. My students are engaging in pretend play. They are taking on the roles of a chef, they are serving food to their customers. This type of play is enhancing their social skills. All of these skills are so important at a young age. Thank you for allowing me to create an amazing classroom for my little ones.”

  • The New Pen and Paper of Our Time!

    Funded Aug 29, 2023

Thank you so much for funding this amazing tool that we use in our classroom all day long. This Samsung interactive pro has taken my classes' empowerment to a whole new level. This tool has helped my students work together on displays to share their knowledge from what they have read or their math problems. My students feel inspired and creative. It is so amazing to not have our board freeze on us anymore. It makes us so excited that when we are writing on the board there are no spots that will not show our writing or illustrations. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for allowing our bright ideas to shine!”

  • All Steamed Up!

    Funded Dec 6, 2022

My class and I can't thank you enough for our steam activities. My students ability to see a problem and try to solve it from various viewpoints is amazing. They are evaluating all their possible implications as well as using different approaches and solutions they can apply. Integrating these steam activities into my students everyday routine is setting them up for the future. Steam education is not about hand holding, my students are given room to think, evaluate, and determine how to achieve their goals and complete their projects. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.”

  • It Feels Good, it Feels Fine, This Place is mine.

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

I am so grateful to you for helping me help my students. This cozy corner really came to life from the amazing primary color pillows. My students love to cozy up with a good book or complete their i-ready tasks in this corner. This corner also provides my students with a calming feeling. These pillows allow my students to take breaks which encourages them to develop important social and emotional skills, such as self awareness, acknowledgement of feelings, and self soothing skills. Thank you again for helping me provide my students a safe place for them to calm down and a place for them to be able to just cuddle up with a great book in hand. We are so very thankful.”

  • Help Us Show Our True Colors

    Funded Mar 25, 2022

Thank you so much for donating this amazing printer. Since you have donated this printer to my class I have been able to make so many manipulative's for math, science, social studies, and literacy. I am able to create so many things for their steam projects and art projects it is amazing. The colors bring so much joy to my students. I can't thank you enough for bringing our classroom to life with a rainbow of colors. Explaining things to my students when they have manipulative's to work with has such an impact on there learning. This printer also is so helpful to my ESL students. The bright pictures and words make it so much easier for them to understand. We thank you so much again for this amazing tool that helps my students each and everyday.”

  • We All Scream for the Cricut Machine!

    Funded Feb 3, 2022

We can't express the excitement from the moment the box arrived. The unveiling of our new cricut machine and all the accessories was truly amazing. We have made T-Shirts for our i-ready and raz-kids competition. The motivation this gave to my students to read and practice their math each and every night so they can create a t-shirt for themselves was extraordinary. Our biggest project we took on was making our T-shirts for our end of the year celebration. They came out great and my students really learned quickly to work the Cricut machine. Thank you so much for these extravagant tools that have made my students quite the little crafters.”

  • Let's Lighten Their Load Of Worry.

    Funded Oct 23, 2020

Thank you so much for lightening my students load. They were so excited to be able to keep the book bags and coats and lunch boxes right near them now. It is so much easier for them to have their own personal crate so they don't have to worry about who is touching their stuff during this unprecedented time. They are able to keep their belongings so organized that it has helped them tremendously with their academic progress. These crates have increased their productivity and efficiency. We are so grateful that this has helped our students prioritize, schedule their time and plan their skills. When they come in and know exactly where their belongings go this helps them with their time management skills and they can begin their academics quickly and precisely. Thank you so much again for lightening their loads and help them be successful students. We are so appreciative.”

  • These Eggs Are Not For Breakfast!

    Funded May 3, 2019

Thank you so much for your amazing donation of our incubator and the egg turner. We had 8 beautiful baby chicks. The process that you allowed my students to experience was truly amazing. They watched these eggs develop into baby chicks. They kept beautiful journals every single day of what was happening. They were able to candle the eggs and see the embryo and heart beating inside the egg. The incubator you purchased for us was so amazing. I cannot express our gratitude. My students will remember this priceless experience for the rest of their lives. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.”

  • When Your Art Supplies Talk!!!

    Funded Feb 2, 2017

Mrs. Schroeck and class 2-303 would like to take this opportunity to thank you so much for your generous donation. We are so excited about our amazing art supplies. We could not wait to receive our package. Everyday we had a count down going. When our art supplies finally arrived we opened the package with such excitement. The look on my students faces made me beam from ear to ear. The pure joy was amazing.

We were so ex tactic to use our drawing paper. It was amazing that we could actually draw without the paper ripping when we used our favorite markers. We loved looking into the mirror and finding the shade from our multi-cultural packs of crayons that matched our skin tone. It was also amazing when we learned about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and we were able to create him with his exact skin color. Our Mr. Sketch markers not only smell delicious but they make our masterpieces shine. Their bright vivid colors make our works of art truly pop off the walls. Recently, we had our hundred day of school. Our art project was to design ourselves as if we were actually 100 years old. It was awesome!!. The patterned paper came at a great time. We used this paper to create dresses, suit jackets, robes, hair bows, etc. for our 100 year old people.

We want to thank you so much for your donation. We are so truly happy. You have truly made our arts come to life. Thank you again for allowing my students to continue to shine with their creativity.”

My students have become little artists. Their reading, writing, and math skills come to life for them when they are able to create it. They get so very excited when they channel their artistic ability that they never knew they had. I have seen them grow in leaps and bounds when they create their academic areas. It is very hard to keep them growing when we are short of these supplies. That is why we are asking for some help. We need plain white drawing paper. It is very hard when you are painting and using markers and the paper you have is ripping and the paint is coming through because it is not durable paper. Our markers dry out so quickly because we do not have an unlimited amount. We must keep using the sames markers over and over. With all of my students using the same markers they do dry out. This puts a limit on their creativity. Everyone knows how artists feel when they get a brand new box of crayons or markers. We are also in need of paint. We have been trying to make our own water colors when our markers dry out just to keep the creativity flowing. My students would also love multicultural crayons. It is very cute when we all try to create colors that match their skin. You will make their dreams come true if you can help us to keep their creativity growing. The art in my classroom works hand in hand with their reading, writing, and math. Let's keep their talents growing!!!
