My students are eager to find the right book. In the past, and for some still, they have always struggled with reading. "Reading is boring!" they tell me. My reply, year after year, "You just haven't found the right book, yet!" Some of them have never been to the public library, some of them have never finished a chapter book, some of them pretend to read. I would like for all of them to leave fourth grade being a life long reader.
