Buggy About Learning

The iPad I receive for my students came as a great surprise. They were in shock that "the gas company" Chevron has so kind to donate to them!!! As a teacher it was wonderful explaining and seeing their expressions on their faces.

The iPad is used by all the students in my classroom including myself. The students is it for educational purposes during our reading & math block. They are also rewarded when their behavior is excellent by using the iPad during a non-educational time such as recess.

I use the iPad on my breaks to unwind & I also take the iPad home everyday and my 2 daughters(age 8 & 10) are also able to enjoy it.

The iPad has boosted the students interest & excitement to learning especially during these last few months of "crunch time" before the FCAT test. I have also used the iPad as a means to motivate them to behave better...and it defiantly does the trick!!

We are very TRUELY thankful for Chevrons generosity in donating to our class this iPad & we will continue to use it throughout our learning this year and the years to follow.”
