  • All Roads Leading To Career Aspirations

    My students were surprised with the quick response of the donations. They are not used to people giving donations to our school. They students are using the tablets to research different careers and they are working on their individual resumes. They are also learning different programs and apps while using the tablets. They are enjoying the tablets.

    Being that this generation of kids that I have is technology savvy the tablets have kept my students engage and excited. I have been teaching for nine years and this is the first time that my students have been interested in resume writing and career research. In behalf of my kids and myself I thank you for the donations.”

The age range of these students is from 13 to 16 years of age. Their disabilities include ADD, Bipolar, ADHD and Conduct Disorder. They live in single-parent households and, for the majority of them, fathers aren't around. However, because we only have 8th graders in our school, funds are very limited.

About my class
