My fourth grade students are a wonderfully diverse bunch. Some are reading above grade level and need access to challenging projects. Many are below grade level in reading. Many have entered school not speaking English, or without being read to at home. Sadly, some have no idea of the joy of hearing a story. Others are interested in non-fiction, and are not able to find books that match their interest. Our school is working overtime to get these kids up to speed, and to meet the diverse range of needs. We are committed to using every resource possible to help these students.
