  • Hands On, Fun and Engaging Work for My Wonderful Kindergarteners!

    I would like to thank you all for your generous donation. I was able to find so many fun and engaging activities for my kindergarten students from Teachers Pay Teachers. These activities allowed me to engage my students during remote learning while having fun. It is very hard to teach 5 year olds online and keep them engaged. I am always looking for fun activities that are developmentally appropriate and this was all possible because of caring donors like you who understand the importance of education .”

Please help me create an engaging learning platform for distance learning. I am requesting a document camera, and a printer so I can create and print engaging work packets. The document camera will help me use concrete items and allow for more accurate modeling. In Kindergarten students need lots of visuals and manipulatives to learn. Showing things like videos on the web can only engage student so much. By having the document camera I can play math games with fun manipulatives, I can show how to properly write letters, and words, and I can help my students learn to read by projecting stories. There are so many wonderful ways to utilize a document camera! Unfortunately my document was stolen from my school in March when we went on lock down for Covid -19. I used my document camera daily and it really made a difference in student learning. I would also need the printer to create colorful learning packets for my students at home. Many parents don't have access to printers and it makes it very difficult to do many activities. I can utilize this printer and create colorful decodable books, alphabet games, math games, etc. I think these items will benefit my students and help them succeed. This whole distance learning is difficult for everyone, especially the younger students. So by having the proper equipment I can make learning a little more engaging and fun! I appreciate your donations to help me create a fun and meaningful distance learning experience for my eager Kindergartners!
