Inquisitive Minds Need Your Help!
Funded Dec 6, 2017It is with much gratitude that I write this note to tell you that my students are using the supplies you have provided on a daily basis. They use the pencils, the math centers, and the flexible seating to engage in their daily lessons and learning environment. They couldn't wait to get their hands on the math learning centers and learning games. These "games" provide a chance for these students to develop social skills and reinforce the math skills that have been taught in class.
This project has boosted my teaching ad students' learning in such a positive way. I recently had my students test their knowledge and I was able to see their growth in both Reading and Mathematics. Every single student improved their reading level. We no longer have any students reading below two grade levels. This is so important and crucial to our class since third grade students in Florida need to take the state FSA exam which determines if they are promoted to fourth grade. I know that these materials you have provided will continue to motivate them and help them be successful this school year.
I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have been a blessing to all of us."”

Thriving Third Graders in Need of Technology!
Funded Nov 28, 2016My third grade students were thrilled to learn that you had donated to our project. When I told them we would be receiving new headphones for our existing computers, brand new laptops, a new electronic sharpener along with ink for our printer, they began cheering and clapping. We were beyond excited to begin opening the boxes as they began to arrive. It gave them a sense of "someone out there cares about us and wants us to do our best." It was truly wonderful to be a part of that moment.
My students are using the supplies you have provided on a daily basis. They use the laptop and headphones to complete reading and math computer programs like i-Ready and Reflex Math. The sharpener, pencils and ink are also used on a daily basis.

Help Us Integrate Technology Into Our Classroom!
Funded Nov 20, 2015I would like to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Your contribution has provided my students with technology, which gives them the opportunity to be successful this school year. When I told my third graders that we would be receiving two new laptops, new headphones for our existing computers and ink for our printer, they began cheering and clapping. It was so exciting to watch them opening up the boxes as they began to arrive. It gave them a sense of "someone out there cares about us and wants us to do our best." It was truly wonderful to be a part of that moment.
My students are using the supplies you have provided on a daily basis. They use the laptops and headphones to complete reading and math computer programs like Reflex Math and I-Ready. The scissors, glue sticks and pencils are also used daily during instruction.
This project has boosted my teaching and students' learning in such a positive way. I recently had my students take their mid-year assessment and I was able to see their growth. Every single student improved their reading, math and science levels. This technological support you've provided is so important and crucial to our class since third grade students in Florida need to take the FSA exam which determines if they get promoted to fourth grade. I know that these materials and supplies will continue to motivate them and provide an opportunity to be successful.
I will forever be grateful for your support. It is nice to know there are still people out there who believe education is still a priority.”

Fueling Our Dreams For Success
Funded Oct 21, 2015Words cannot describe just how grateful my students and I are for your generous donation. My third graders were thrilled to learn that you had donated to our project. When I told them we would be receiving new science journals, science file folder games, a number line to help with number sense, a math game to use during differentiated instruction, along with a new printer and ink for our new printer, they began cheering and clapping. We were beyond excited to begin opening the boxes as they began to arrive. It gave them a sense of "someone out there cares about us and wants us to do our best." It was truly wonderful to be a part of that moment.
My students are using the supplies you have provided on a daily basis. They get to take notes in their new science journals and are beginning to understand the scientific process as they excitedly write down their predictions. We have also used the number line to help develop place value and number sense in the classroom. We've also used the all-in-one printer to scan and print various sheets that have provided a better understanding of the curriculum.

These Third Graders Are Thirsting For Knowledge!
Funded Oct 28, 2014My third grade students were thrilled to learn that you had donated to our project. When I told them we would be receiving new classroom library books, a set of privacy partitions, new headphones for our existing computers and a brand new laptop along with ink for our printer, they began cheering and clapping. We were beyond excited to begin opening the boxes as they began to arrive. It gave them a sense of "someone out there cares about us and wants us to do our best." It was truly wonderful to be a part of that moment.
My students are using the supplies you have provided on a daily basis. They get to "check out" these books from our classroom library. I have researched and placed stickers inside the books which tells them the reading level & the points they can earn when taking an Accelerated Reader Quiz. This will motivate them to read the books carefully and then check their comprehension. They use the laptop and headphones to complete reading and math computer programs like Reading Plus and I-Ready. The privacy partitions create a "private space" for the students to read and answer assessments in a quiet environment.
This project has boosted my teaching and students' learning in such a positive way. I recently had my students re-take the Accelerated Reader (Reading Range) Test and I was able to see their growth. Every single student improved their reading level. We no longer have any students reading below grade level. This is so important and crucial to our class since third grade students in Florida need to take the FSA exam which determines if they get promoted to fourth grade. I know that these books and supplies will continue to motivate them and provide an opportunity to be successful.

This project has boosted my teaching and students' learning in such a positive way. I recently had my students re-take the Accelerated Reader (Reading Range) Test and I was able to see their growth.
