Science is an experiential subject. Students should be exploring and discovering, not merely studying content material. Additionally, students should be continually connecting what they are learning to their world and the ever changing world at large. All students, even those not headed toward scientific fields, should have a general understanding of how science works, how to do science, and how science impacts our world. It is important that today's students go through their science coursework replicating the process and technology used in the working world of scientists, as well as the world at large, in order to truly apply the knowledge and skills they are gaining to meaningful contexts. We appreciate you looking at our projects and donating to our classroom in order to keep science meaningful and current for students.
