  • Materials for Independency!

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

Thank you so much for all of your generous donations! My students were so surprised when the packages arrived; they couldn't wait to open them! The students have already eaten some of the popcorn during a movie afternoon and it was so delicious! They have also been earning their daily points so they are able to choose one of the sensory toys for a reward.

The velcro has come in handy for making communication boards and matching games: and the ziplock bags are being used to hold the symbols for these boards and games.

Once again thank you so much for your generous donations.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Black

  • Renovated Library For The New School Year!

    Funded Aug 15, 2023

Words cannot express how grateful I am for so many generous donations! As an avid reader myself, I know how important it is to have a comfortable place to sit and read a good book; I know I would have loved a bean bag chair when I was a child.

My students were so excited and surprised when the packages arrived! They loved the new books that were added to the library and the new bean bag chair. Although they have to take turns using the bean bag chair, they are just so thankful that they have a special place to sit and read a book.”

  • A New Year, a New Adventure!

    Funded Jul 28, 2023

Words cannot express how grateful I am for the support you have given my classroom and most importantly my students. My students have already used the the paper towels and clorox wipes to clean their desks after they created their sculptures and paintings during our art theme during summer school. They used the sharpie markers to draw their landscapes before they painted them.

The tissues have helped with the runny noses and I can't wait to use the borders, folders, word wall words and the paper clips for the upcoming school year!

Once again, thank you for your generosity!”

  • Differentiation for All Students!

    Funded Jun 27, 2023

Words cannot express how grateful I am with everyone's generous donations. The TPT gift cards will be an extreme help with differentiating my lessons and creating activities for all of my learners.

I have already had the opportunity to purchase some items during the summer school program. Our theme is art so I purchased slide shows on Picasso, Pollock and DaVinci.

I'm looking forward to the new school year when I can continue to use the gift cards to facilitate the units we will be working on for ELA, guided reading and math.

Once again thank you so much for your kindness and your generosity.”

  • Artists of the Future

    Funded May 9, 2023

Words cannot express how grateful I am with everyone's generous donations. The construction paper, glue and the collage materials have already come into good use! My students made beautiful mother's day cards for their mom's! They also used the bead kit to make bracelets for a mother's day present.

All of my students love art, so they were very excited when the new materials arrived; they couldn't wait to use them !

Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart. With your generous donations it has given my class important tools to support them in their learning.”

  • My Students Need a Voice

    Funded Mar 18, 2023

Words cannot express how grateful I am for the support you have given my classroom and most importantly my students. My students have already used the wireless microphone while reading their ELA essays for their end of unit project. The IPad chargers have been keeping the IPads charged and ready to use during our guided reading period.

The highlighters have been used when the students are searching for the answer to the questions and the post its are being used to take notes.

Once again, thank you for your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Black

  • Games Are the Pathway for Making Friends

    Funded Nov 23, 2022

Words cannot express how grateful I am for the support you have given my classroom and most importantly my students. When I unpacked the box of games, the happiness on my students face just melted my heart.

My students have used all the games, puzzles and cards during their free time. These games and puzzles have significantly improved my students social skills and interactions with their peers. They are beginning to seek out their friends to see if they want to play a game like Connect 4 with them.

Once again, thank you for your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Black

  • School Supplies for Success!

    Funded Oct 26, 2022

Words cannot express how grateful I am for the support you have given my classroom and most importantly my students. My students have already used the markers to create a small poster on bullying. The marbles helped to replace the missing ones from the game Hungry Hungry Hippos and the post it notes will be used during guided reading lessons and activities.

The binder rings were used to make key chains for their locker key and to for putting together the self assessment cards.

The AA reading sets will greatly help my pre-reader learn his high frequency and sight words.

Once again, thank you for your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

  • Building Blocks of a Classroom

    Funded Oct 18, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations to my project. The large and small storage baskets have helped my students to organize the inside of their desks. They put all their notebooks, folders and dry erase boards in the large baskets; they were very excited to have a place for their things. The calculators, highlighters, erasers and class schedules went into the small baskets.

The highlighters will assist my students when looking for information in a text and the calculators will assist with more complex math problems.

The color pencils and the white construction paper will be used for book making and their end of ELA unit projects. My students love to use their drawings to help express their feelings.

Thank you again for supporting my classroom and my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Black

  • Back to School, Back to Basics!

    Funded Sep 20, 2022

Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for all the generous donations. The folders are coming to great use! They help to organize the students ELA and Math IEP goals work. The students love the independency of going to the IEP baskets and retrieving their own folder.

The electronic pencil sharpener is a game changer, we no longer have to go to the office to sharpen our pencils! The students can now do it in the classroom on their own.

The dry erase boards have helped me to differentiate my lessons and the kids are able to use them to help doing their math problems ( i.e. making tally marks ) and brainstorming writing ideas.

Thanks again for supporting my classroom and my students!”

    Ms. Black
