Through this interactive program, young minds will have the chance to explore the fascinating worlds of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in an engaging and creative way.

  • Flexible Seating in the Library

    Funded Jan 18, 2024

    I wanted to take the time to write a note of impact and thanks for your generous donations to Flexible Seating in the Library. Our school has worked hard to transform the space, and with your help, we now have a missing piece to the puzzle.

    Our students use flexible seating to sit with their book (and a reading companion which is a stuffed animal) and practice reading out loud without worrying about the person sitting next to them. This seemingly small adaptation makes a huge impact for students who are building their confidence when reading. By having their own space, my students have come to enjoy the library both with their classmates and by themselves.

    Your generous donation has lit a fire for our program and we plan on expanding this project to impact our older students, as well. In the future, we hope to continue exploring new and creative ways to enhance the love and joy of reading for all of the students and staff of PS/IS 109.”
