  • Comfort and Joy of Reading

    The bean bag chairs we received are very much appreciated and it has brought comfort for many of my students that use them. When we unpacked them they were so excited and could not wait to use them. Some students try to get here first in order to get one of the chairs before others.

    It makes it so they can move around the room and be comfortable with their friends or while they are studying. They are a great addition to our Media Center and they are used on a regular basis. I am so thankful that my students are getting to use them and appreciate the donations we received to get them.”

    Thank you so much for funding this project. My students really need healthy snacks and this will be very much appreciated. Some of my students do not eat breakfast or lunch and do not have money to buy it, so they come and get snacks from the Media Center.

  • Making a Georgia Reading Connection

    Many of our students enjoyed the books we received from this Donor's Choose project. The 20 books had 87 checkouts by students since January and were enjoyed by so many of them in all grades.

    One of our fourth grade students that checked them out said "I thought the books were overall very interesting and entertaining." Another student said the books were amazing and that we should definitely do this again. A fourth grade student said that her and her brother in second grade really enjoyed reading the books this year.

    All the students said thank you very much for the books provided from this Donors Choose project.”
