My students come from Oakland, CA - a city known for its diverse population. That's exactly what my students are - diverse. They come from all walks of like and present with a variety of needs. A number of the students I work with have Autism Spectrum Disorders, which causes them to have significant communication and social challenges. I also work with students who have difficulties communicating due to articulation and language processing problems.
